Herbal eGram #569 Thy Food shall by Thy Remedy

Good Morning!

Twenty-Five Hundred years ago Hippocrates stated the above adage and it is still true today. Hippocrates is still considered the “Father of all Physicians”. He believed and taught that the basis for good health is what we eat. I think he’d be appalled at what we consider food in today’s society.

Our food can be our downfall if it is not adding to our health. Many of the things we eat are non-nutritive and worse yet, anti-nutritive. These food choices actually rob our body of the nutrients necessary to create health. Learn about what foods are healthy and actually can contribute to maintaining health and what foods could be contributing to inflammation in an audio class presentation that is two part (about 45 minutes each part) Feed Your Family Right: Audio recording Part One   Audio recording Part Two or check my website: http://bornforhealth.com/educationalwebinars/drmaryswebinars.html
Learn about the role of good nutrition. Why we need healthy fats and rich minerals for energy production and tissue repair. Coconut oil is being researched as an incredibly health oil for feeding the brain and heart. Avocados are also a source of good fat. However, we also need to make sure we are getting enough Omega oils and especially DHA for healthy brains. I supplement my diet by taking DHA capsules to feed my brain and support heart health.

Recently it has been discovered that some food can actually affect our DNA adversely by helping express genes such as cancer and diabetes. Grains in particular are showing detrimental effects on our intestinal system where the absorption of food determines whether we are getting the nutrients needed into the cells or if those cells are dying a slow death due to malnourishment.

Grains have always been the mainstay of our diet. Are they really good for us? I have found that more and more people are becoming gluten intolerant. More and more people are getting Diabetes and what is the relationship to grains—is it really gluten or is it another factor?

The foods that make up our basic diet: wheat, rice and other grains may be the very foods that are contributing to the chronic diseases we are seeing run rampant in our society. The USDA recommended food chart has always acclaimed grains as being the basis for a healthy diet—can they be that off target?

Dr. Mercola recently had an article discussing this very thing: These Foods Have Invisible Thorns that can Rip Apart your Insides. These [foods] include anti-nutrients that interfere with the digestion of starches (anti-amylase), proteins (protease inhibitors), minerals (phytate), and many other similar molecules. Sprouting, fermentation, cooking and processing can sometimes reduce and/or eliminate these substances, but not in all cases. Lectins are capable of disrupting the health of the creatures that consume them, often piercing through the protective coating of their digestive tracts, and gaining entry into systemic circulation.

Many people have irritable bowel, gas and bloating but don’t relate it to the inability to break down nutrients in grains. What is even worse is that many of our grains are genetically altered and implanting harmful bacteria and even hormones into our gut. This damage is just being assessed because up until now those manufacturers such as Monsanto claimed the process “safe”. Even though no testing has ever been done on what these GM alterations do in the human gut.

What should be the main food we eat to create a healthy diet? Our diets should be based on complex carbohydrates such as vegetables and fruit with some good organic protein for amino acids. Minerals should make up our diet and these are abundant in plant form. This symbiotic relationship is not only about exchanging carbon dioxide with oxygen, it is also about the way plants break down nutrients and absorb sunlight. When we eat these plants we can more easily absorb and utilize nutrients that have been digested by the plant.
For example: we cannot obtain minerals by chewing on rocks. Plants, however, can through their root system take those rock minerals and bring them into itself via digestion. Plants have digestive and immune systems just like we do. They don’t have stomachs but through a different process they use the minerals available to grow and develop. If those elements are lacking, the plant does not grow healthy. This is just like us—we too need healthy environments and exposure in order to live and be healthy.
Do we need to supplement? I feel it is very difficult to get everything we need from our daily food intake. It does need to be the basis—that is why vitamins and minerals are called “supplements”—they supplement a good diet. The vital nutrients (referred to as “vitamins”) are dependent on complex and synergistic compounds to form complex chains that our body needs for cellular repair and to build healthy cells.
When these nutrients aren’t available in the food we eat and we don’t supplement, the body will “make do”. Sort of like the 3 Little Pigs. If you want a house of sticks or straw then don’t supplement and don’t eat a healthy diet. If you want a house that withstand the wind and forces of nature—then eat healthy and supplement with a good food source vitamin and mineral supplement.
Don’t go cheap with your supplements. Make sure you choose a company that test for dirt, adverse particles, hormones, pesticide residue etc. Make sure they are testing to make sure that what is on the label is actually in your supplement. Nature’s Sunshine has been a stickler for quality since day one and that was 40 years ago. It is one of the reasons I choose it as my supplement company and why I have trusted the Sunshine logo to my health and to the health of my friends and family.
Most companies do not test. They simply slap a label on their product and purchase from the cheapest supplier to make the best profit. Did you know that Centrum is made from all synthetic ingredients and yet it is the one most prescribed by doctors?  Many pharmaceutical companies are getting into the vitamin/mineral and even herbal markets because they know people are buying these instead of their drugs. Don’t be misled—they only have profit in mind; not your health. Choose wisely what you put into your body—especially if you are counting on it to support health.

Herbal eGram #568 Consumption Disease

Good Morning!

Years ago people were dying from a disease called Consumption. It pertained to a lung disease that came to be known as Tuberculosis. I actually had an aunt die from Consumption. She was bed ridden for years before it finally was too much for her frail body to fight. The condition usually affects the lungs. Its main symptoms are a persistent cough that produces thick phlegm, blood in the phlegm, chest pain, breathlessness that gets worse over time, fever, night sweats, loss of appetite, fatigue, a general feeling of being unwell, and loss of weight.

People are still dying from consumption but it has nothing to do with Tuberculosis. The diseases we see have to do with diet and many of these chronic diseases are preventable by changing our diet. Heart disease is one of them. Extra weight is thought to lead to increased total cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, and an increased risk of coronary artery disease.

Consuming a healthy diet will go a long way in protecting you from the chronic diseases we now see people dying from in our country. Eating plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits and some healthy protein on a daily basis is something everyone can agree on. Whether you feel being a vegetarian, vegan, caveman, raw foods or whatever—our body needs good fats, proteins and healthy carbohydrates to function optimally. It is like the old saying: Garbage in, Garbage out. The output is only as good as the input.

February is generally considered Heart Month. The best thing one can do to protect your heart is learning how to be happy. Many poor eating decisions are due to unhappiness. You can call it stress—but generally it is about whether you are happy or not. I recently posted a Valentine message from Amanda Gore: http://www.bornforhealth.com/connectingsites/findingthejoy.html

If you want to find joy in life you have to start with loving yourself. Amanda’s 12 step method will help you define where you need to work. Diet certainly will help because if you don’t eat right—you can’t think right. I have many depressed people come to see me and one of the main things they have in common is poor nutrition. They don’t care enough to feed themselves properly. They need to learn that food matters.

Every day we have to make choices and every day those choices can determine whether we are leaning toward health and ultimately happiness, or ill health and sadness. When a loved one dies, we lose our appetite (some people eat the wrong foods to try and comfort their sad feelings but in general the appetite is lost). Nurturing the body during this time with foods like Super Algae will help us regain our balance and then we can choose to eat healthy again.

Energy comes from eating nutritionally dense foods—this does not include “energy” drinks, candy and cookies and so called “energy bars”. These foods contribute to obesity and now we find out they also contribute to dementia. The mitochondria of the cell are where energy combustion occurs. It needs certain things for this to happen. We need adequate water intake along with nutritional dense foods. We also need a good attitude. See Amanda’s suggestion on how to change your attitude in just 4 minutes.

What’s your consumption like? Where do you need improvement? Check out some of the links I suggested and seek out some inspirational reading: Louise Hay; Wayne Dyer; or http://www.wikihow.com/Be-Yourself Is a step by step method of how to get to love oneself. It takes work to destroy old habits and old thinking patterns. But aren’t we all a work in progress?

Herbal eGram #567 Starving in a Bountiful World

Good Morning!

Recently the news carried a story about a couple and their adult son lost in the forest in Oregon. They were mushroom hunting and then lost their way. Setting aside the seriousness of the situation, one might wonder what kind of mushrooms they got in to. But, according to the news they were hunting hedgehog mushrooms which are quite prized for their taste (not experience in eating). They got turned around and lost their way.

Many of us lose our way. We follow a path that we think will lead us to our next goal and find a dead end. Or, perhaps you haven’t a goal in mind and are floating or drifting along with the tides. These tides can bring us into some very rough water if we aren’t prepared.

I’m not sure how many kids go through scouting these days. I remember when my boys went through scouting and learned all kinds of preparedness techniques. They also learned about honesty, integrity and character building. They had a reward system that recognized you for deeds done. How many of us would like to receive a badge for making healthy meals, or keeping our bills paid, or how about keeping our appearance neat and clean?

How would a reward system like that make you feel? Maybe teens need to be appreciated instead of always being told what they aren’t doing. Maybe moms need to be appreciated for keeping the household going while possibly working. Dads too need appreciation for what they do to contribute to the family well being. We all have roles we play and expectations come along with that role.

Being responsible for our life is not always easy. Many of us just drift along thinking that others will take care of us. While it is nice to count on others for help, ultimately, it is our responsibility to create our own happiness and health. Sharing this responsibility with others is one thing. Making them responsible is another. Even a two year old child understands what makes them happy. Most of adults have no clue at how to be happy—or healthy, for that matter.

The story mentioned above exemplifies how ill prepared we are to go even a few days without what we recognize as food. They were in a forest—vegetation all around them. They were found next to a river bank and yet were dehydrated. Because the food didn’t look like a Big Mac and the liquid wasn’t Pepsi, these people couldn’t recognize that they were starving in a bountiful world.

We have no survival skills. Survival skills are not taught as your usual academic requirement. I think they should be. First Aid is taught—why not survival. We should learn proper budgeting procedures. We should also learn how our economy functions. Basic rule of thumb—there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch. Many of you know that I help home school my two Michigan granddaughters. My Eleven year old granddaughter, Sarah and I have been discussing the book, Whatever Happened to Penny Candy by Richard Maybury.

In this book you can learn all about how our economy works. It helps you understand the cycle that most economies flow through. It gives you a basic understanding in a rather humorous way, how to be prepared for the ups and downs we go through during the Seasons of Economy. This isn’t thinking negative. If you live in Michigan and you don’t buy a coat in preparation for winter, you are going to be cold for a few months. These are factual preparedness techniques that help you stay up in a down economy.

Our ancestors could eat all winter in that forest these people were lost in. They recognized what leaves would be tasty and filling. They would know how to make a fire and stay warm during the night.  It wouldn’t be the comfort of home, but they would survive without ill health. My friend and colleague, Steven Horne is doing a series of webinars based on preparedness. One never knows when one would need this knowledge. Just as one might never use the First Aid skills you learn—it doesn’t hurt to learn them. http://www.stevenhorne.com/mailing-list-signup-form.html

Some of us live in a mindset of scarce and buy into the fears our media taps into. Learn how to safeguard your thinking and regain self confidence. Fearing scarcity is not the same as being prepared for tough times. One is inaction and the other is action. Some of us feel that if we have a freezer full of food, we’re prepared. In an emergency, community support is basic. Your community may be your relatives or neighbors. You might have one skill whereas your neighbor may have another that would help the both of you survive in a disaster.

We’ve seen all kinds of disasters occurring. Nobody wants it to happen to them. Do you think the people who survived Katrina or the Japan Tsunami wanted to have this happen to them? We live in an electronic world. We have come to depend on reading our books electronically—talking to friends electronically; even our cars run on electricity and microwave chips. If you didn’t have power, how different would your life be?

I had the chance to feel what it was like to be in a hotel without power when I was in California recently. It is amazing what we take for granted. My room was on the 26th floor. Our meeting rooms were on the 3rd floor when we lost power. Can you imagine going up 23 flights of stairs to get to your room—okay it was probably 22 because nobody does a 13th floor! But, even then, your key wouldn’t work because it too was electronic. It is extremely dark in a room without lights. The hotel gave us glow sticks that we placed in the bathroom so we could find the toilet.

Most people could survive a couple of days without power but for the most part, we would not survive a national disaster where we had no power for weeks, or months on end. Learning a little bit about survival techniques might be helpful. Could you go out into your yard and pick weeds that would make a tasty salad? Your mindset may be that this is the worst eGram you’ve yet received, and yet it might be the one you are truly grateful for. It’s up to you. It would only take one EMP flare and our world would change demonstrably.

Some references: Self-sustaining through gardening: Marjory Wildcraft.  History repeats itself: Harry S. Dent; NASA predicts solar storm 2012-2013; Disaster preparation guide Although I’m not Noah and there isn’t an ark in my backyard, it does make me wonder. As the seasons change from winter to spring, how will our economy, weather and health be affected by what these scientists are telling us? There always will be those who fall victim, those who survive and those who thrive. Maybe the lesson here is live for today and let tomorrow take care of itself.

Have a health filled week and share what you know.

Herbal eGram #566 Satisfaction

Good Morning!

The dictionary defines this word as: the feeling of pleasure that comes when a need or desire is fulfilled. In old English it was referred to when a duel was imminent.  A wrong had been committed and the two parties involved would decide how the duel would play out.

There are many ways to feel satisfaction that are healthy and beneficial. Creating pleasurable experiences is a necessary part of being healthy. These experiences offset stress: Take a soothing bubble bath; get a massage, listening to relaxing music; doing yoga or tai chi; taking a walk and enjoying nature—list your favorite things that when done leave you with a sense of well-being.

It is not healthy to expect others to make us happy. Happiness comes from within. It is especially easier if one feels satisfied with oneself. Be aware of what makes you feel dissatisfied and analyze what you can do to change the experience. If it is your job: how can you think differently about it. You could think: at least I have a way to earn an income and put food on the table. This is called Cognitive Reframing.

It takes a conscious effort to change. Its real easy to fall into the trap of expecting the worst. If you understand the laws of Physics---this one falls under the Law of Attraction. You really don’t want to live under that dark cloud so do something about it. Distress Remedy helps people be aware of when they are viewing everything in the negative. There are many books and audio media that can help with this.

Louise Hay is one person who is well-known for helping people view situations in a different manner. You Can Heal Yourself, her famous book has helped many people develop a more positive outlook. Your thoughts right now are predicting your future—what are you thinking? How can you correct your thinking to create a better future.

Do you start your day saying: Today’s going to be a bad day—I can just feel it!? How much of your bad day did you create? Here’s a tip: Everyone at some point in time, has self doubt—they just express it differently. Some people internalize it and grumble about it. They’ll tell everyone of their “bad luck” who will listen. Then there are others who blame anyone close—it’s your fault they have such a difficult life.

The lack of satisfaction, or being dissatisfied, evokes feelings of disappointment, disgruntled, unhappy, irritated, frustrated, distressed and even angry. The extent with which one feels these emotions depends on how dissatisfied they are. It will also be determined by the person’s personality. If you are a “Driver” or “bottom line” person; If you are a :”Socialite” or person whose main concern is “what others think and do”—then you will usually blame others and Vent your dissatisfaction.

If you are an “Amiable” and a people pleaser, you will blame yourself. If you are a “thinker” and analyze everything and every detail—you’ll internalize your dissatisfaction and create the martyr complex. None of the 4 ways I just listed are of benefit. One must take responsibility for their thoughts and actions. Change the way you think.

Dr. Daniel Amen wrote a book about ANTS—Automatic Negative Thinking. In it he shows you how to change those thoughts into positive ones that promote health and well-being. In general, negative thoughts are the beginning of a self-fulfilled prophesies of doom. Some people play the game of whose situation is the worst. “If you think that was bad, listen to my story etc.” Pity parties never end with satisfaction and neither do distractions.

A distraction may be enough to lift the mood and move you to a healthier emotional state. Often these result in Addictions—they totally are not the true answer. Distractions might include a diversion like playing a computer game, watching TV etc. Sometimes these can be habit forming. They don’t change your circumstances. They just put everything on hold. Another person may create the distraction by going to have a drink. Again—this just puts the inevitable on hold. Eventually you will have to make a decision.

What happens when one is continuously involved in a state of dissatisfaction and they are always unhappy? According to Ernest Hemmingway: Happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing I know.- Ernest Hemingway, author and journalist, Nobel laureate (1899-1961) Hemingway, who took his own life in 1961, knew his share of both intelligent people and of unhappiness. He achieved many accolades and yet was dissatisfied. How can one change their perspective and achieve happiness?

Make a list of the things that are not right in your life. Make another list of all the things that are right and that you should be grateful for. Take one thing from the “not going right” list and analyze it. Why? But, here is the deal: not allowed to blame yourself or others for the situation. You are on a “fact finding” mission to determine why. The next thing: How can I change it; if you can’t change the circumstances then you need to find a way to think differently about it.

Your only choice may be: I choose this experience because it… Maybe it’s a job and it puts food on your table. Think of at least one thing about the experience that is creating a benefit for you. This reframing will move the “bad situation” over to the good side in a short time if you focus on why you are choosing it to occur. Only you can figure out why you feel the way you do. Only you can change how you feel about something.

Along with the flower essence Distress Remedy, which helps you figure out why; you may want to choose another such as Be Respons-able. This remedy helps you realize that you do have control. Some people need: Be Courageous—it does take courage to change. You can take the on line quiz and find out which remedy will help you with your circumstances: http://www.treelite.com/quizzes/emotional-health-assessment.php

On February 11th I’ll be teaching a class on Addictions and some of the possibilities you can explore in dumping these behaviors.

Have a health filled week and share what you know.

Herbal eGram #566 Crystal Ball

Good Morning!

As humans we have this inherent desire to know the future. Maybe it’s so we can prepare for it or anticipate what the future holds. Perhaps we think we can make better choices if we know the outcome ahead of time. Whatever the reason, we need to learn to prepare for the future; learn from the past but LIVE in the present. Too many times we are busy wondering about future events or reliving past errors or disappointments to enjoy what we have right now.

Logically we know we can’t control the future. There are people who feed into our fears of the future and if we get caught up in them we can be paralyzed in our will to move forward and be proactive. There is even a TV show about Fear Factor. I personally can’t understand people watching something like this—but I don’t understand a lot of what people do for entertainment.

Fear and anxiety are very similar. They produce many of the same hormones and physical responses. There are fears that are constant and there are fears that are sudden. There are fears that are phobias which keep us from doing what “normal” people do all the time: ride on planes, elevators etc. There are fears of things that go thump in the night and fears that keep us from visiting the dentist. We all experience fear and sometimes it is healthy for us.

Healthy fears keep us safe. Healthy fear helps us to recognize we are on a collision course. If you are a smoker and you fear cancer—you get the idea! It just is stupid to live in fear and not do something about it. Having no fear is doing dangerous and life threatening things because of the thrill. There are consequences to our actions. We either pay them now or we pay them later. Fear is normal and it helps us to be aware of our circumstances.

Faith is giving up fear—knowing that if we do what we know is right, it will turn out okay. Maybe this isn’t 100 percent true—bad things happen to good people too but, in general if we focus on good; good is what we get. If we’ve had a lot of bad things happen to us we can become “gun shy” and lose our faith and trust. We need to trust in our observations and evaluation of situations so we can decide what path to take. If we are stuck in fear we are constantly asking others for their advice and although this can sometimes be a good thing, it has to in the long run, be our decision. It has to feel right to us.

The flower essence “Be Courageous” helps move the feelings of fear and doubt and helps us get in touch with our self-confidence to create better decisions. We are the only ones who know what is right for us. Others will decide what is right based on their past experiences—they may not be the same history you have and when you try to follow their suggestions, it won’t go exactly as they tell you it will. It is a good idea to listen to the experiences of others but don’t decide your path wholly on that.

Some people just blindly go through life letting others decide for them. Then when things go wrong they can say: “it’s your fault—you told me to do that!”  You still must pay the consequences so you might as well be in charge and make your own decisions. There is nothing that erodes self-confidence like never making your own decisions. When you decide to do something and then do it you feel a sense of accomplishment. It doesn’t have to be perfect. This too can paralyze you. Nobody is perfect! We all just do the best we can and that should be good enough.

The opposite of being fearful is no fear. This too can get us in trouble. We take risks that can endanger not only ourselves but our family and loved ones. Because of fear we choose addictive behaviors or substances to numb our feelings. We can also choose to do activities that involve a high level of risk to go beyond the numbness we created. Driving fast and reckless is one way people can not only hurt themselves but others. Extreme sports tap right into this behavior.

When we do thrill seeking actions it causes the adrenal glands to send out stimulating hormones that makes the heart pump, raises the blood pressure and readies the body for “flight or fight”. These hormones are very inflammatory and once the action is over the body has to recover. During the recovery process the inflammatory chemicals are often stored and contribute to tissue damage. So, not only do the sport injuries cause tissue damage but the body’s response mechanism causes inflammation. Now, let’s add those so-called sport drinks!

Most sport or energy drinks trigger the adrenal glands and contribute to the inflammatory process. They usually contain high levels of a type of caffeine that bypasses the blood brain barrier and goes immediately into the nervous system to jolt us. Too many of these factors contribute to heart damage, stroke, early aging and often auto immune disease. All of these conditions have the underlying cause of inflammation.

The flower essence of “Be-Respone-Able” helps us to realize that our actions are contributing to our poor health and circumstances. We can’t blame it on others. We are responsible to do what is right. If we are always making poor choices then perhaps we need to get in touch with our knowing. This can be done with the flower essence of Distress Remedy. Shock, hurt and difficult situations happen to everyone. How we handle it decides our next step. It even can promote tissue healing and reduce inflammation. Distress Remedy can be taken at any age. It is safe and allows us to regroup.

Distress Remedy is similar to Bach’s Rescue Remedy except that Distress Remedy is better in my opinion. DR has no alcohol and tastes great. NSP has added Arnica – a tissue healer that helps us deal with shock and pain. They also has added Red Clover to help the body deal with stress and learn from our errors. It helps us when we want to “do nothing”. Doing nothing about a situation is avoidance and often that is the beginning of the cycle of letting others decide for us.

Life is energy and we can calm the concerns we have for the future and let go of the past so we can fully live in the NOW. Find out what flower essence will help you by taking the quiz on line: http://www.treelite.com/quizzes/emotional-health-assessment.php or ask for an assessment form the next time you visit me.

Have a health filled week and share what you know.

Herbal eGram #565 Pulling the Plug

Good Morning!

You might think this email is regarding a disclosure of some kind and in a way it is. Generally when you had a sink full of water in an old fashioned sink that had a rubber stopper and you wanted to empty the sink, you’d pull the chain attached to the rubber stopper and the water would exit the sink. In this scenario, the government is the stopper that determines whether water (or anything else for that matter) will be held in the sink, or if it will exit.

The chain could be linked to either the pharmaceutical industry or any other faction that now controls what our government does—I don’t really want to go there. The point being is that many of the situations in our life are out of our control, especially when it pertains to government edicts; this most recent one being the FDA banning the sale of HCG homeopathic.

Yes, in case you haven’t heard our good ol’ FDA has determined that doing a 500 calorie diet along with HCG homeopathic is potentially dangerous to your health and therefore they have across the board, banned the sale of Homeopathic HCG—therefore none will be sold at our office. Those of us who have safely used the product and acquired a healthier weight are appalled.

With all the harmful drugs on the market—why target a supplement that has helped so many people get control over their weight concerns? You probably already know. The “chain” wasn’t getting anything out of it and was probably getting nervous that so many people are no longer taking Diabetes meds, High Blood pressure drugs etc due to the weight loss attained.

This edict goes right along with so many of the natural supplements that have been banned with some ridiculous claim that harm could be caused: Tryptophan, Chaparral, Comfrey and the list goes on. The natural health community has so few claims against them that the government has to almost make them up to determine their harm. Nobody to date has died from using homeopathic HCG—every day hundreds of people die from properly prescribed, FDA approved drugs that are recommended by medical doctors. But the chain controls the plug and it isn’t even yanking!

Life can be very stressful if you belabor all the wrongs going on. First, one has to determine: Is there anything I personally can do about it? If you feel there is –then do it and be done with it. Know that you have done all in your power to do. The rest of it you need to let go of! It does you no good to discuss it with friends ad infinitum—you are gaining nothing from it. Since I firmly believe this philosophy, I am not going to belabor this issue.

We have no control over what the government does. We may think we do, but unless you have the finances to beat the system—don’t bother stressing over it. In my opinion, God has given us too many plants that can achieve similar results. Our job is to find different answers. This isn’t to say that if there is an injustice we shouldn’t do something about it—it only means that while you are doing something about it you must let the situation go. Constantly thinking about it won’t help. You can sign a petition and let others know but once these are done—FAGETABOTIT!

The more wrongs you concentrate on—the more wrong goes on in your life. This is a Universal Law. What you project you get in return. Project Joy and Love and you will get this in return. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Find Peace within you. Don’t try to change the world. “Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do... but how much love we put in that action” Mother Teresa
Your week will go as your thoughts go. Control your thinking—it is something you can control. If not, perhaps a flower essence will help. Some of us are plagued with obsessive thoughts that we have difficulty controlling. Taking remedies such as DHA and Focus Attention helps to nourish the brain. “Keep Cool” Flower Essence helps us to get control over situations that cause us uncontrollable anger. “Find Strength” helps us determine what we really need to stand up to and not be looking for things to falsely accuse.  Sort of like the passive-aggressive who raves on about things that have no immediate consequence to their situation.

Learn more about how flower essences can help you gain control over what is in your control by attending a live class or webinar: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/561271529

Have a health filled week and share what you know.
