Mrs. Hughes is a wife, mother, grandmother and a great stand up comedian.  Learning to laugh at life's circumstances is healthy.

Should we blame it on the pigs?  This is a hoot!!

And you expect people to believe you?

Recently there was an article about how organic foods are really "just a fad" and that they don't have any more nutrition than conventionally grown, pesticide ridden, GM foods. When you follow the tracks back to who did the "research" on this article, you know it is slanted.

Organic Bytes fights back:
"Ever since its creation in 2000, the Food Standards Agency has been biased against organic farming. The first chairman, Sir John Krebs, was supportive of the biotechnology lobby and only too keen to promote GM as the future of farming." read all http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_18716.cfm

Anyone who has tasted a home grown tomato versus a hot house tomato knows that all plants are not created equal. The more the flavor the more nutrition in the food!

Sometimes one just has to question authority and especially what is printed!

You know it is Spring...
You know it’s spring when you get into your car and find you can’t see through your window because the birds have been busy in the tree you parked under.
You know it’s spring when you run out for a breath of fresh air only to find out a skunk has been visiting the area.
You know it’s spring when the snow melts and you find all those places the dog has relieved itself during the winter.
